Here we will keep you updated on the steps being taken to realize Mustafa's Dream.

In a couple of weeks our project gained momentum. Mustafa has found a building in Borek, that meets our requirements (see photo). The consultation with the owner had as result that we can rent the building for the coming years. After that Mustafa and his team immediately started working on the building. Necessary repairs were carried out and after that the whole building was thoroughly cleaned. At this moment they are working on the purchase of the equipment of the building, such as tables, chairs, desks and cabinets.
We are very happy that Mustafa’s and our dream has become a lot closer all at once. Grateful we are for all donations, big and small, that we received last time. In total we received an amount of over € 6500,-. It is zo touching to see that so many relatives, friends, acquaintances and – until recently- unknown people came in action to support us. Also we received valuable learning resources, which are put on transport immediately to Iraq.
With the donated money we can pay the rent for the first year, all the necessary repairs were carried out and the building has been completely cleaned. Moreover we can buy all the furniture –second hand when possible and new where it is necessary for safety-reasons - and the learning resources that are still needed.
So now we almost completed the first step, namely taking care of a well furnished building. But of course we are not there yet.
The next step is to attract the staff, open the center and let the children come in and receive the necessary support that they need. We want to build a center that gives structural support to the children on their way to a better future. We need a lot of money for that. Therefore we are still very grateful for all donations, big and small, which can bring this goal closer. In addition we think about how to broaden our project and give it an even firmer base to interest also big organizations to cooperate with us.
Again, many thanks to all donors. Without you we would not have achieved this. And to all who consider a new donation: every euro goes directly to our project and with that to the welfare of the children of Borek.
